Dr. Jeffrey Ziar
Dr. Jeffrey Ziar received his D.M.D. in 2000 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Besides many honors and awards received during his dental education, Dr. Ziar was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) honorary dental society. After his dental training, Dr. Ziar continued his studies at the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery where he obtained his certificate and M.S. in Periodontology in 2003. While attending these universities, Dr. Ziar served as a clinical instructor where he could teach the future of his profession and to constantly refine his skills to ensure that he would be able to provide the best care possible to his patients. Dr. Ziar feels that it is extremely important to remain in the forefront of technological advancements in periodontics and dental implants. Therefore, he spends numerous hours in continuing education courses and attends many dental meetings each year so he can offer his patients the best possible care and treatment.
Although Dr. Ziar is currently focusing on his private practice, he continues to support the Chinese American Dental Association and participates in other philanthropy events. He is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, and other organizations dedicated to promoting and maintaining dental health. Dr. Ziar’s dedication to his profession was rewarded with the America’s Top Dentist award from the Consumer’s Research Council of America numerous times. His numerous invitations to lecture on dental implants and periodontal disease locally and in China are reflective of his knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Ziar spends his time away from his office with his wife and their lovely dogs. He also loves traveling, going to movies, and he is a huge sports fan.
Dr. Wei Huang-Parise
Dr. Wei Huang-Parise received her DDS in 1999 from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine with a Navy scholarship. Upon her graduation, she completed one year of residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Naval Dental Center Far East in Yokosuka, Japan.
Dr. Huang - Parise continued her active duty as a naval officer in Japan and Seattle for 5 more years, providing comprehensive dental care to American sailors, marines, soldiers, airmen and their families. She was a three-time recipient for the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for her outstanding services. During her last 7 years of active reserve with the U.S. Navy, Dr. Wei Huang - Parise was promoted to the rank of Commander.
Dr. Huang - Parise is committed to life-long learning and improving her knowledge and skills. She stays up to date on the most current dental procedures in order to offer her patients the highest quality of care. She has taken numerous continuing education courses, which has earned her prestigious recognition as the Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
She is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the New York State Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Huang - Parise enjoys running, biking, and traveling with her husband Luca, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Grace Yi Ying Su
Dr. Grace Yi Ying Su received her DDS in 1991 from the New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Su completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU. She continued on to become a faculty member at NYU Dental School for more than 30 years and is currently the Clinical Assistant Professor for General Dentistry and Comprehensive Care, and the Clinical director at NYU faculty practice.
Dr. Su is also an active board member of the Chinese American Dental Association, where she served as president from 2013-2015. She continues to support and provide outreach to the Asian community. She is also a board member of the Alzheimer’s Association (Chinese Chapter).
Her clinical focus is on cosmetic restorative dentistry (eg, crowns, veneers, whitening and implant restorations).
She speaks Mandarin, Japanese, English and Taiwanese.
